Administration Dashboard

The first time you login into ColdBricks you will be taken into the Administration Dashboard view. This is the central hub for accessing and managing all sites on your server. From here you can create new sites, access the user management module, access the server settings module and directly access the site management area for each of the sites registered with ColdBricks.

Click on the Create New Site button to create a new website or portal using ColdBricks.
Clicking on this icon will allow you to manage an existing site with ColdBricks. The site to register must be located on the same server. Also, only sites created with ColdBricks or sites built using the HomePortals framework can be registered.
This panel displays the version of the HomePortals Framework installed on your server. Also, if the framework is not detected on your server then it will alert you that the framework is missing.

Additionally, it provides a quick link to verify the current version against the latest released version. Click on the Check For Updates link to compare the versions.
Clicking on this icon will take you to the Sites Management screen. From there you have control over the sites registered in your ColdBricks instance. The Sites Management screen allows you to create, register, open, delete and download ColdBricks sites.
Click this icon to go to the Users Management screen. This screen is used to manage all users that have access to the ColdBricks application. Please note that ColdBricks users are different than the users of each of the registered sites.

NOTE: In ColdBricks there are two types of users: administration users and regular users. Administration users have full access to all screens and sites. Regular users do not have access to the Administration Dashboard and can be granted access to only specific sites.
This icon will take you to the Server Settings screen. From this screen you can modify the base configuration for all ColdBricks/HomePortals sites on the server. In HomePortals, site configuration is a two step process; first the base configuration is read and then the configuration specific for a site is read. Thus, the second config can overwrite whatever settings are defined on the base config.
The Administration Dashboard provides quick access to manage all sites registered in ColdBricks. Sites are represented with this icon. Clicking on the icon will take you to the Site Dashboard for that site. From there you can start managing and customizing the site.
